Peacock Acres TLC

Peacock Acres believes foster youth can succeed and develop into successful members of the community if they are provided a safe and therapeutic learning environment.  This environment will help them focus on learning, developing life skills, and growing developmentally and emotionally by interacting with their peers and local mentors.  The Learning Center at Peacock Acres works with foster youth and their caregivers to devise a targeted plan that will allow our students, the clients, to develop their academic potential and living skills.  Fr4om home-schooling, to after school help with creative writing, these goals encourage the students at The Learning Center to continue to work hard and get results.  With a plan in hand, students are paired with a mentor/tutor who supports them and leads them towards their individual goals.  Gaining academic and life skills in a safe and supportive environment strengthens a student's chances for a successful transition from our services to independance.
